Council Hammers Nails Into Ruddertowne Report’s Coffin

At a recent Dewey Beach town council meeting, a final written report regarding the activities of the defunct Ruddertowne Architectural Committee — authored by former town commissioner Mike Eisenhauer — was officially rejected.

The Ruddertowne Architectural Committee was initially formed late last year to try and preserve the Ruddertowne complex’s collection of shops and restaurants from being demolished and rebuilt as townhouses by Highway One Partners, who owned the property at the time
