DE Governor Gets Bill On Dewey Beach Changes

It’s now up to the Governor to decide on a charter change in Dewey Beach.

Both the Senate and House have approved a measure that would change the Town Charter. The bill would prohibit gambling in Town limits. It would also force at least two of the Town’s five elected commissioners to live within Town limits. And it would allow officials to create voter referendums on ordinances.
