Political Groups Work to Correct Statuses

According to documents received from the Department of Elections on Wednesday, the Dewey Beach Citizens Association has now filed the requisite statement of organization and independent expenditure report.The Dewey Beach Citizens regularly post opinion pieces about Dewey Beach and its town officials on its Web site, deweybeachcitizens.com.Earlier this month and prior to the Dewey Beach Citizens filing, Manlove had said if they did not come into compliance, they would be subject to a fine of about $50.
